Frozen cheese, frozen meat, frozen...ovaries?

The sperms of the future would have to decide how to deal with preservation. They would face an existential dilemma no sperm has ever dealt with before. A sperm, for instance, would have to recognize whether an egg cell is cryogenically preserved for 20 years or not. He would have to decide whether to prefer a wrinkled ovum over a fresh one, like we do when we choose between canned strawberries and their freshly-picked counterparts.
Women who aren't ready to get pregnant but would like to have their ovaries preserved for 'future use' must watch out for the effects of cryopreservation.
A sperm might just be able to sniff out the difference, especially if he's into a healthy lifestyle.
